 | Forum Thread | One for the collective any car body repair specialists in here at 09:45 21 Jun 2025
Broke down on A3 on 5th June the beginning of a catastrophic chain of events. My car ended up brung transported back to Ipswich by RAC, although it didn’t arrive until 18th. They outsourced to a motor trader and the vehicle ended up on the top deck of a car transporter, above the drivers cab. They manage to smash the driver side mirror, the car was also in a filthy state, having spent days on a tour of East Anglia. Booked in for estimate this morning so had it given a good clean. The damage is not limited to mirror, bonnet is seriously scratched, non metal parts to both driver side doors deeply scored and a two foot plus crease to the roof. I only found out when my garage asked what RAC were going to do about the damage. Any experts on here, how easy is it to repair a car roof? |

The final team has qualified. But being Americans they didn’t call it a play off but a play in. |

Facebook decided I should see an article on Fans Hub page asking if Ipswich or Norwich were the bigger club. Ricky back up Bilverstone was fighting their corner! |
 | Forum Thread | Cunha to Old Trafford at 16:26 19 May 2025
Copied from Sky Sports News Wolves forward Matheus Cunha is set to join Manchester United after the season ends this weekend. United are expected to trigger the £62.5m release clause in his contract. The club are aware by which the conditions for that clause will be met. There has been no direct contact yet between United and Wolves but those formalities are anticipated once the season has closed. Despite interest from other clubs, Cunha wants to play for United and Sky Sports News has been told the deal is almost agreed. Guess they won’t want Delap as well. |

 | Forum Thread | Can we expect Academy news in Cat 1. at 12:49 7 May 2025
Following is copied from The Athletic. Birmingham City will soon be awarded Category One academy status thanks to a continued push from their U.S. owners Knighthead as they work to restore a youth system that produced Jude Bellingham back to its previous level. The club’s academy lost its Category One status in 2022 after being granted an initial 12-month provisional licence. It was revoked by the Professional Game Academy Audit Company (PGAAC) due to a lack of investment from the former owners, Birmingham Sports Holdings Ltd. As part of the latest audit, the PGAAC returned to the Knighthead Performance Centre, formerly known as Wast Hills, to access, amongst other things, the facilities and staffing levels. Going back up to the Championship is just the first phase for the club and their American owners Birmingham have received a positive update and will be able to start building for the future. Category One status will open the door to the elite domestic leagues and fixtures, and allow the club to continue rebuilding after losing some of their best young players across various age levels to rival clubs. |
 | Forum Thread | Local Government reorganisation Suffolk at 09:43 4 May 2025
Suffolk: The existing district and borough councils, along with the Suffolk County Council, will be replaced by a unitary council or multiple unitary councils. A directly elected mayor for Norfolk and Suffolk will be responsible for strategic policy areas and devolved government funding. The new mayoral authority will operate separately from the unitary councils in terms of service delivery. Suffolk's district and borough councils have submitted interim proposals expressing a preference for multiple unitary councils. The government is also planning to postpone Suffolk County Council's May 2025 elections to facilitate the transition to the new system. Presumably this will result in a Greater Ipswich Unitary council, rather than a singular authority for the whole County. Is everyone happy with one mayor to cover both Suffolk and our northern neighbours. Where would you base him, or her! |
