Both me (21) and my dad (51) both went to the Plymouth game yesterday, as it was only a 20 minute bus ride away for us. Got ourselves to the Mannamead pub pre game for a few pints and to chat to fellow South West based fans before heading up to Home Park. We'd been to see Town few times throughout the past few years, but the last recorded win we'd been to was in the 2016 season when we had won 2-1 at home to Middlesbrough (I think!) The last 3 games we had been to have all been defeats (last seasons 4-1 loss to Peterborough, losing to Exeter in a cup 2-1 and then Cheltenham this season). We're hoping to break the voodoo of our travels with at least a point at Home Park. Boy, didn't that go well. For most of the game yesterday, my head were in my hands, praying for a win but it never materialised. We'd lose possession on key areas of the pitch, we did everything but get that 2nd elusive goal, and on top of that to find the ref being rather one sided. We'd both had left after FT being so frustrated and to cap it off, most of my mates (who live in Plymouth and surrounding areas) were rubbing it in on the socials. All I've ever known in my lifetime as a Town fan is pain, frustration and anger. I've only seen our club go down due to poor management, poor squads and a poor owner. It's actually frustrating to find ourselves where we are. We only find ourselves 1 point better off this season than last season, even though our club has been stripped bare and new additions have been brought in. Oh well, 3 points on Tuesday then, anyone?
