I hate West Ham, but on 11:26 - Nov 8 by IP4_Blue | Moyes and Ole are both out of their depth, If Pep or Klopp was at Man Utd they would be challenging for the league. I don't normally agree with Michael Owen but he was spot on saturday, saying Ole doesn't know what system to play, where City and Liverpool play a system and they buy players to fit into there system they are playing |
Man. United are still sixth in the table whilst Tottenham changed their manager before deciding to change again and probably won't improve too much on their current ninth place. Similarly impatient Everton are eleventh whilst Leicester with a long (ish) serving manager and very decent squad are a place below. For a couple of seasons Villa looked like they might break into the top four but are now only two places above the relegation zone - and their owners have gone and lost their nerve and dismissed Smith, could get very messy now. The teams above United are all there on merit, it is a competitive league after all. Directly above them are Arsenal who have had their dodgy moments (not counting failing to give the ball back when it has been kicked out on behalf of an injured player) and are probably six months to a year ahead of United in the changes horses midstream game, changing riders at the same time would get very confusing for all involved. They need to hold their nerve if they are to avoid seeing Solskjær managing, say, a Wolves team who are a couple of places higher.

I hate West Ham, but on 08:16 - Nov 8 by Oldboy | Don't get this hatred of other football clubs. I don't even hate those up the road. I couldn't give a squirrels poo about them, but I don't hate them. Let's all try and drop hate from our vocabulary. You will hopefully feel better for it. |
Where do you live for the record? If you live in a wishy washy border area like I do then you would hate them. This reminds me of a really rubbish article I read by a bbc journalist years ago, saying how Ipswich and Norwich fans can’t really hate each other as they are 40 odd miles apart and don’t see the whites of each other’s eyes except for derby day. He was totally wrong, as he didn’t factor in the support for both teams that rub along next to each other in large areas of east Anglian outside of the town and city of Ipswich/Norwich [Post edited 8 Nov 2021 11:44]

I hate West Ham, but on 08:50 - Nov 8 by Bluespeed225 | No, I feel better for my dislike of West Ham. They come well above Norwich for things to dislike( Norwich is purely a geographical footy thing), though Liverpool run them close. Strangely, I liked Shankley, Paisley, Fagin, Dalglish etc and Klopp, and of course John Lyall. Boils down to supporters and historic journalistic bias think. |
I watched the 2005 2nd leg in a pub in Haverhill outnumbered about 5-1 by West Ham supporter's. Hard to feel much love for um since
