Amazing to think it's a year already since the day, I doubt I was alone in this. But I was glued to the web refreshing this site as more and more snippets of info came out about our new owners.
Absolutely at times before it happened, I had reservations. Spent a good few pages going toe to toe with J2, No not because M.E did a good job, no one can say he did. But at the time the fear of what we were being sold to.
Anyways what i've loved is Eds ' Rebirth' comment. Just thinking about that for a second. You see some clubs go bust and some going through some real pain down the leagues and having to start from a really bad place. But this 'rebirth' opportunity of a club in league 1, one of the biggest home attendances in the EFL, record I Follow followers etc, it has to be one of the most promising projects players, coaches, finance directors, tea ladies etc will want to be part of.
The bigger picture gets lost in amongst the emotions of games, but for a large majority of town fans, the next decade would potentially be one of the most exciting this club has had since the days that earned the stars and I for one am looking forward to it. |  |
