Is there a time limit on using a PCR test? (not just test expiry date) 10:05 - Apr 18 with 320 viewsNthQldITFC

For some reason I am struggling to find an answer to my question in the convention channels, and as TWTD is well-known as the home of all useful information (even for Elephants), I thought I'd ask on here:

I have a registered PCR test which I didn't use at the time I was infected (mea culpa) although I isolated until LFT tested clean twice. The expiry date is October next year, and it is stored within the environmental limits, but I don't know if the testing authorities will accept it if I were to use it later (i.e. in the event of suspecting a re-infection before the expiry date).

Does anyone know if there's a cut-off point as I don't want to dispose of it unnecessarily? Cheers.
