Really impressed with him having admittedly been underwhelmed when he signed. Think that he's performed well since his arrival and listening to him after the game yesterday he sounds like he's got a sensible head on his shoulders. Think he'll prove to be a very popular member of the squad.

A great interview and shows the type of personality Mckenna has attracted. Sounds like a great guy and has settled in straight away.

His attitude to being signed then the club signing Davis is first class, but I'm sure Mckenna when signing him made him fully aware of the plans and that gains mutual respect and buying into the project rather than having a player feeling hard done by and put out by another playing being brought in.

The squad actually has quality, it's always felt in past seasons that despite a reasonable first team the squad players have been a sudden drop off in ability. I don't think that's the case this season. I think the Colchester game was just a bit of a freak result as the performance was ok.
