Time waiting in heat, engines all idling after long ride at British border control at Calais, 45 mins. One ferry missed so additional 90 minutes wait for next one.

Arrived in Zittau, Germany to get some cash from an ATM. Left Zittau, crossed border into Poland. Filled up with petrol. Crossed 2nd border into northern Czechia. Drove onto Liberec, found cafe and drank a refreshing coffee. 45 minutes.

What's not to love about the control we have taken back there guys?

Can you imagine doing that when Europe had physical borders and each country had their own currency too? (Poland and Czech do as it goes)

Remember a school trip to Austria and going hungry while the coach stopped in Belgium and Germany as I'd only been provisioned with Austrian Shillings!

Great itinerary and not a single passport check! -we're being exotic today and heading across the border to centre parcs in the Netherlands!
