If Ahadme's already scored 5 for burton, does this mean he only needs to score 15 for us and then he'll be the 20-goal striker that guarantees promotion? Or are we asking him to score 20 goals for us? That would mean he'd have to score 25 in total for the season. Big ask.
Tongue in cheek obviously but i'm starting to find this argument over how many goals your striker needs to score a bit tedious. Football has moved on from 4-4-2 with a big man and little man up front, two wingers who go around the outside and cross it, and full backs who don't cross halfway. We have two goalscoring attacking midfielders and our most tried-and-tested way to score actually seems to be low cutbacks from the right-wing for sam morsy. I think having chaplin and harness is contributing to ladapo's lack of goals. Both are better finishers than creators. I wonder whether ahadme has been brought in to score 20 or to contribute to the system where harness, chaplin, morsy and burns do the scoring. His finishing wasn't great against us but he was a nuisance. |  |
