Assuming Plymouth goes ahead.

What would we accept from Sheff W A, Plymouth A and Portsmouth H?

Would personally take five points, anything more would be a statement and 3 or less would be a concern.

Five points would give us 25 from 11, which leave us three points ahead of the 2 points a game we believe we need for top 2.

We only took 9 points against the teams that finished top 6 last season and we have four from 2 games so far (MKD 3v0 and Barnsley 1v(Sundeland)1).Five more would match last season top six total, with seven more games to go).

With the position we are in and place we want to be, 5 would be progress, 9 greedy but ideal. I’m putting these games in the don’t lose category, but realistically we will lose at some stage, potentially one of these games. These are form teams, they were hard to beat at their place last season, and some chances we’ve presented others recently might be taken by opposition in these games. How we react to goals conceded has been good so far this season, in these games resilience is likely to be tested.

Come through this period positively is the game for me, not the number of points, 3 would be fine but not exciting.
