10 points fron Oxford, Hull, Doncaster and Accrington. New manager too.
Thought our decision making in the final third was poor tonight. A more clinical side would have buried Accrington, who are no pushover and could have come away with a point.
The positive is the number of chances we created, compare this to just a month ago and that is a big improvement.
If Town take the option of a further year on player contracts that pre-date the salary cap, is the player salary during this additional year treated in the same way as it was this year, capped at circa £125k per annum irrespective of what is paid? Or will it be treated as a new contract and valued at the full amount?
I would be very surprised if we were allowed 2k fans for the Portsmouth game.
As I understand it, the club will need to update/finalise their match day protocols and hold smaller test events before they can secure the relevant safety certificate to allow 2k fans into a game.It may be that the first game will be just the 1k fans that were due to attend versus Rochdale.
I have also been told that EFL clubs had no notice about the announcement to readmit fans and most clubs were planning for a return of fans in 2021. It remains to be seen how much work will be required to update and finalise the protocols and how long this will take. It will also depend on external inspections and when these can be scheduled. I have heard that some EFL clubs are planning their test event in January so we may need to be patient a little bit longer.
Thought that was the best performance this season and while there is room for improvement we are heading in the right direction.
Edwards on the left was excellent. It is his best position so lets give him a run there.
We look so much more comfortable on the ball this season than last and importantly look like we can create chances and break teams down. The pace and movement from midfield and forwards is going to create problems for a lot of teams this season.
The back five have looked really strong all season. Wilson and Nsiala have been excellent and at this level, the mistakes we make tend not to get punished.
Compared to this time last season, the performances are much more convincing and we are not nicking last minute winners, holding on to a one goal lead.
Next few games will be a step up and will give us a better sense of where we are in this league this season.
Will you be sent vouchers that the holder then decides how they are spent e.g. £50 of vouchers and you can spend all in shop, on food etc. or a mix of what you want
or
A book of vouchers, which enable you to redeem against pre-specified items e.g £20 for shop, £20 for match tickets, £10 for food?
Will the user be able to use the voucher for the full value of the purchase or will it be say £10 voucher on minimum spend of £30?
If Town and Wycombe lose their cup replays this week, is there any chance that our rearranged league game on 26/11 could get moved to Sat 30 Nov instead when we would both have free weekend?
