With a risk that I am over-reading this.
We have 25 players listed under the first team.
El Miz is included, was he a first teamer last season?
No Piggott, who would have been in the first team squad before his loan.
No Baggott nor Yengi but both were development squad players last season, so no great surprise

Phil - do you know if the club is planning to announce which of last seasons year two scholars have been offered/signed pro deals, and which ones are leaving the club? Plus are they going to announce the new year 1 scholars, who were paraded around the ground at the Exeter match?
It seems like the club are a lot quieter on the Academy comings and goings than in previous years. Is that deliberate? |

Assuming Luongo and Aluko sign their new deals, Town will have 23 senior players next season, plus Cam Humphreys who still counts as an U21. This does not include any of our players who spent last season out on loan - Harper, Ahadme, Piggott, El Miz, Nbada and Baggott.
The squad limit next season is 25 senior players (U21 Prem loanees would counts as a senior player).
I would expect us to look for a replacement for Keogh and add two forwards as a minimum, so I would anticipate some currently under contract players will not make our 25 man squad.

So for L1 this season, this approach:
- failed to place the champions in the automatics or top 6
- identified 50% of teams getting automatic promotion
- identified 50% of team making play-off (plus Wednesday who they placed in autos)
It was better at predicting the bottom four.
So a little bit like the forecasts that gave SW 99% chance of top 2, these stats are not that reliable or useful What may be missing in the formula is resilience/mental strength, as Plymouth found a way to win despite not playing well on a regular basis.
