I really think this should be the sub when we are looking to close a game out, we struggle to retain the ball under pressure and we seem to be losing our way at about 60-70 mins recently, even when up to that point we are the only team in it.
Either Camera or Humphreys to close out games, over Chaplin or Harness, I can see the Benifits of Edwards though |  |

Absolutely agree. If you break it down it’s the hopeful balls into the box not dealt with and that may be the lack of understanding when a new player is brought into the defence. However I agree with you. I would like us to be able to control the ball higher up the pitch therefore mitigating these moments. |  |

What is Camara's hold-up play like? Until he got injured the tactic was for Aluko to come on and hold the ball up in the opposition half. We seem to be missing another player capable of doing that. The midfielders you suggest are hardly a battling defensive midfielder. Ball has been used as that but with Evans out we don't have someone else to come on to do it do we? Maybe bringing Keogh or Burgess on to move Woolfenden into the midfield as that extra body would work? Alternatively, drop Burns into central mid when seeing the game out? But then again, didn't Charlton get at us by using the width? |  |
