ITV drama 'The Walk-In' based on real, horrifying UK neo-Nazi extremism.
After rotten times in their youth as members of abominable groups, both men turned 'mole' & basically sacrificed the rest of their lives by standing up openly to give evidence against vile, violent individuals, resulting in ringleaders of 'National Action' getting lengthy jail sentences.
Robbie & Matthew (the latter a journo & head of intelligence for anti-fa organisation 'Hope Not Hate') in all likelihood prevented the deaths of MP Rosie Cooper & a police officer. Going public meant death threats not only to themselves, but in Matthew's case, his kids & mother. They've not been able to live normal lives since.
The follow-up docu just finished on ITV that gave more background & detail was also an excellent, desperately hard watch.
