I just saw that, and I am finding the whole thing absolutely hilarious now! I've never been a big fan of international games anyway, hardly ever watch England play because it's almost always utterly tedious (or used to be), and I despise the sort of 'fans' that crawl out of the woodwork when there's some high profile tournament on. This tournament obviously takes the corruption, mismanagement and disgusting aspects of a money-led game to whole new levels of revolting depravity, even if you ignore the moral bankruptcy of it. I doubt I'd have watched much of it before, if any, but I might actually tune in now, not for the football, but in the hope that I might see the whole sorry enterprise descend into chaos and farce. Platini and Blatter and fk knows who else should be in prison, and as far as I'm concerned it's not football any more, and can fk right off. | |
