More left-footers than right-footers ... has that happened before? 11:15 - Dec 11 with 682 viewsDarth_Koont

Pointless musing obviously.

But our starting XI had more left-footers yesterday: Walton, Burgess, Davis, Humphreys, Chaplin and Aluko.

Accident or design? After spending decades struggling to get balance (the left flank obviously) has this been a part of recruitment? Even Edwards is a genuine two-footer rather than with his right (I had to look up his preferred foot as I really couldn’t tell).

I would like to see a correlation graph comparing the apparent increase of left footers and the introduction of microwave ovens.

I'm feeling there's something in it cos there were hardly any left-handed/footed people when I was a child and no one had microwaves in those days.

That's my theory anyway.

Poll: Xmas dinner: Yorkshires or not?

Clearly a factor.

But Nicholas Cage’s movie output is also slowing down in recent years. And we’re seeing more left-footers as a result.
