Game management failing to win games and giving away late draws (Fleetwood, Sheff Weds, Charlton to name a few) we have failed to close out games since the Autumn and poor finishing is the reason we have dropped out of the top 2. Unless we are more ruthless (i.e bring in a proven striker, maybe two) then we will end up in the lottery of the play offs. The impression I got from yesterday's interview is that he is feeling the pressure a bit, not least because of the amazing form of our two rivals.
But this is understandable. He is new to management, and this is perhaps the most difficult period of his management career to date, given that everything has gone swimmingly so far.
He may have also expected that we would firing on all cylinders by now given that we are now back to full strength, given how well he got us through the period with key injuries.
But we mustn't forget that he is an excellent coach and reinforcements are on the horizon.

I agree, and realised after my post I should have mentioned the illness, which McKenna looked like he has had as well because he looked a little gaunt.
