I would have thought turning off the VPN would cut the stream, and it's not something I've ever done. But it would appear to work for you. Indeed, if such an approach works perhaps it avoids the problem which some people experience of having to visit another country during the game. |  | | |

This is my understanding.
A VPN (virtual private network) is something that provides security if you log on to a public network or a private network with weak security, but itcan also be used on a network with strong security. It hides your location and also enables you to specify the country you are in, so if you specify, say, France, I-follow will assume you are abroad and allow you to purchase a video package and watch it.
My VPN comes with the Norton security on my computer.
There can be occasions where the link is not stable and you have to change country. But what you shouldn't do is specify the United Kingdom as your country. | | | |

100% don't need to leave the VPN on all game - have it on for the Payment and to start the broadcast is fine. At these two points the IP address will be verified. I always just pay last minute, open the broadcast, turn off the VPN.
It would be hugely costly and memory sapping for Ifollow to be continuously running a script/query to check for IP addresses and cross referencing them.
Below is a tweet I done to help those who face any issues.
