What a day…. 21:15 - Jan 21 with 467 viewsITFC_Forever

Fretting about the match being on due to freezing temperatures (how was Northampton Town off, but Northampton RFC went ahead?).

Broken down lorry on the Brook Street roundabout causing chaos on the M25 / A12 junction, made worse by several cars (at least on including Town fans) having a shunt in the queue.

M25 then had queues, so we diverted via part of Barnet to dodge round it.

Get to Oxford to discover fog, despite there being none 10 miles down the M40 and then had park in the overflow car park.

Time we got in the stand, the fog had thickened, and then proceeded to vary in thickness during the first half. By the time the second half started, it was thicker still, and the last 20 minutes were impossible to watch anything further than 30-40 yards away from the away section.

But for a team allegedly challenging for promotion, we don’t win many games.

Still, the overflow car park was relatively easy to get out of - we were out in 20 minutes, and home in Ipswich by 8pm.
