We once had a proper old school-type manager with a very, very good record at promotions from League One, his name was Paul Cook.

We also had the epitome of old school managers in Mick McCarthy for a while.

I somehow, and this is just a gut instinct, don't feel bringing either of them back would take the club where it wants to go.
