I think we were definitely the better side throughout and looked to create more. Derby at times looked like they didn't know how to make runs into space and you could see that some of their players (the fullbacks especially) were frustrated at the lack of options.

- Walton has looked so much assured recently and just at the right time too.
- Since Keogh has moved to what I assume is a more off field role, the defence have been fantastic. Burgess especially has been a monster. Thought Leigh looked solid if unspectacular and is a solid fill in for Davis.
- If we had started the season with Morsy and Luongo in midfield, we'd be 10 points clear. The care these two have for the ball is unreal at this level.
- Burns' workrate is ridiculous. He knows his role and is very good at it.
- Broadhead floated in and out a bit today. When he was good he was very good.
- Chaplin with his usual knack of finding a goal. And what a counter attack goal it was! Excellent workrate as usual, let down slightly by some lax passing today which had hugely improved in recent games.
- Hirst was a bit of a workhorse today. The touch wasn't always there but it makes such a difference having a big guy up front with intelligent movement and a willingness to run.

On to the referee. He was a bit of an odd one. Books players for time wasting, but doesn't book for diving (Derby player flinging himself to the ground and the Chaplin one, which if not given as a foul, has to be a dive). I thought their player was lucky to stay on during the first few minutes when he pretty much forearm smashed Burns in the neck.

We've started winning the must win games; teams above are dropping points; we're playing some of the best stuff I've seen in years; there's so much positive off the field stuff happening; we have a team of guys that I feel I can really get behind; and we have injured players coming back at the right time.

Really enjoying how we play at the moment. Let's hope it continues!
