I know a few older residents in the Portman Road area have been getting agitated by the level of noise being created by young hoodlums on Saturday afternoons.

I think everyone should be mindful that not everyone is a "fanatic" as some like to call themselves and please do you all you can to keep the noise down. It is a nice sunny afternoon and sitting in the garden is one of life's pleasures for some people - is hardly fair that you should let your desire to have fun and enjoy yourselves negatively impact on others.

I expect everyone to respect other's wishes and to behave accordingly. The world has moved on so much in different ways and young people especially should learn to control their emotions rather than "going mental" "getting on it" or whatever other silly thing they do when they are happy these days.

Have there been cyclists in the area BL?
....and definitely no smoky flares between 1:15 and 1:30 please.

Honestly Mr Slave, it is most upsetting seeing young people having fun, for example using pyrotechnics for anything other than they were designed.

What are the young people thinking of? If tomorrow a boat goes down in the atlantic and there is not enough pyro left for an emergency flare then, the consequences are on these people.

They need to think through their actions and take responsibility rather than being selfish and only thinking of themselves.
