Does the new Overseas Player Rules effect our approach this summer 09:25 - Jun 15 with 518 views

Just wondering if the clubs had a heads up that this was likely to be coming and that we may have been scouting abroad (outside of those who would have been granted work permits under the previous rules) or whether there will be a scramble now to look at wider scouting ranges?

Given how "chatty" football is, I'd be very surprised if clubs didn't know these changes were coming.

Just a guess mind.

I imagine there are some potentially very comparatively cheap players in South America though. It's an exciting rule.
