Everton and Simms agent run the risk of having an excess player with no where to go as the tempted teams will end up being priced out or buying elsewhere.

I would also suggest the current price tag and fever around his possible signing will do nothing but inflate his already overinflated ego (if you speak to Evertonians).

So what would you say if Simms is worth £20+ million after just one season ? What if he is the difference between a mid table team and a top 6 team ? Yes...worth anything up to £7 million I say.

Any transfer fee looks great value for money if you assume they're going to triple in value over the next 12 months!
