Running Half Marathon for Addenbrookes 15:06 - Oct 5 with 672 viewsEdmundo

Off the back of the Kieron Dyer story today, I thought I'd let supporters know I'm running the 2024 Cambridge Half Marathon in aid of Addenbrookes Charitable Trust (ACT).
In 2021 our son, Austin, was born 14 weeks early. Thankfully he was looked after by world class doctors and nurses at Addenbrookes. They saved his life twice during 10 turbulent months in hospital (details on the site), but thankfully he is now home. We still have some catching up to do, and still have appointments every few weeks in Cambridge, but he is an amazing little soldier.
No value can be placed on the care provided, but the cash I raise will go towards keeping a top class facility within reach of the region.
