It is brilliant. The one point I would make is that it is said that we often outnumber our opponents in the middle of the park, and yet the video that is chosen shows us not outnumbering the midfield, but simply passing through it with fewer players. I understand the theory, but I think quite frequently when we are patient and then are able to pass through the midfield it is in situations where we don't actually outnumber. The average positions graphic proves that we play a 2-4-4. I think we should claim that as a badge of honour! It would also be good for us laypeople to have Kieran's approach /without/ possession explained in detail, because of course that side of the game is really important and has been increasingly recognised as so over the last 20 years.
