I would be amazed if there is one, so bit of a long shot but I'm off to New York for the first time next week, looking forward to it, just wondered: is there a New York ITFC themed pub anywhere in New York City that anyone knows about? Or is there even an English football themed pub that I can visit? I take immense pride in seeing ITFC shirts up and have done in Greece, Spain, Turkey, Mexico, USA, Malaysia etc and although it always hurts to let them go, its worth it and brings a lump to your throat to see Town shirts proudly hanging on the walls or ceilings of bars across the world. Its a bit like being an early Christian Pilgrim, apart from a swap the Christian for ITFC, although I'm sure Jesus would be a town fan anyway... |  |

I watched the 2019 Champions League final in a bar on W33rd, next to the Empire State Building, maybe Legends was the name, loads of English football memorabilia. Jack Dempsey’s bar is on the same street.

I watched the 2019 Champions League final in a bar on W33rd, next to the Empire State Building, maybe Legends was the name, loads of English football memorabilia. Jack Dempsey’s bar is on the same street.

My old local, Flannerys, 14th street near 7th Ave corner, was just Irish but is now the SpursNY hub, however, as I was in there more than some of the stools they always tried to sort Town games on one of the screens. Ask for John, ( think he’s still on Fri-Mon nights, 8 till 3 or 4, mention your Ipswich and was sent his way and he’ll look after you. I watched the news break of the Evans takeover in there, Ray Sleggs face on multiple screens, like a dystopian nightmare! For fun, I think Norwich have a pub, pop in a sticker the place up! Nevada Smiths used to be footy central in 2002 World Cup, England v Argies kicked out about 9am! | | | |

The White Horse was my closest pub! I always thought about sending them something over to put up in the bar. They have a magnificent white horse collection, but it’s nothing to do with us! However it was where Dylan Thomas drank himself into a stupor before expiring in the Chelsea’s Hotel later that night! Bob Dylan and Jack Kerouac were also patrons. | | | |
