Songs we should bring back. 16:34 - Nov 30 with 756 viewsStevieH

Got me thinking following the unacceptable songs thread

EEJB is back now which is great. Any others you’d like to hear ……..

I’ll start…….

1. ‘Ipswich’ to the tune of Amazing Grace , echoing round the ground.

'Kieron McKenna's Blue & White Army', heard occasionally last season but not much since.

The Johnny Lyall version could be sung for ages - at a sensible tempo - and was such a good part of 91-92.

The great escape tune for me, ending with a rousing shout of 'Ipswich'!

I remember an away game at Watford in the late 90s where we somehow lost despite being much the better team and it genuinely felt like we sustained the chant for the entire first half.

Call and response with 'we're so good it's unbelievable'
which we currently are!

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

"Keep right on to the end of the road"

We use to sing this, proudly, in the 60s and early 70s.
