Later rounds, if we get through and drawn away to a PL team, we can start preparing for VAR - assuming we get promoted - as the PL teams have VAR at their grounds in the FA Cup as well. |  | | |  |

I know there were a few threads bemoaning the draw, but yours was the first I found and I agree for so many reasons it's a great draw, especially considering we had to play someone somewhere unlike Manchester United all those years ago when they skipped it.
No long trip and a great chance to give the fringe players a runout and test as we have a few players missing soon with international representation or cards..maybe even a couple of new players needing a practice too being just 2 reasons..and also a chance to get past them and pick up a great draw or keep a winning run going. |  |

I agree with you - it's a very good draw - we have a great opportunity to get some game time for players on the edge of our first XI.
The only fly in the ointment will be the scramble for the 1200 or so tickets...but we can't have it all.
And if we do progress to the next round, I'd like another similar draw too! The longer our 2nd string can play, the better! |  | | |
