I just wanted to acknowledge the effort that KJ put in and to highlight some of the things that he did well last night. I'm not trying to big it up as an amazing performance, just saying that I feel like he done what he had to do very well.

I do have a bit of a soft spot for KJ, though. During the Lambert era I was on my way to work listening to the match build up on Radio Suffolk. I let a car out of the Milsoms/High road junction and it happened to be KJ. He was heading away from Ipswich in his car and looked like a broken man. I felt really sorry for him. I'm just glad he's been given another opportunity under KMc to at least make a go of a career for himself.

No question about his work rate, but I’ve never rated him in the lone striker role. He needs a target man alongside him. His most productive time with us was playing alongside Norwood imho. We have to strengthen in that area if we want to push on this season
