Very frustrating to hear this and 100% the club should be asked the question and held to account if this is the case. Just because the team is doing well, it doesn’t excuse something like this if it is true. Players, managers, chairmen, chief execs come and go, the fans are the one constant of any football club. You can’t treat them with disdain, they should not be fobbed off. The local media have a difficult balancing act but, ultimately, it’s the fans who provide their revenue not the club. Right now there is a real feel-good atmosphere about the club but that doesn’t mean it can’t be criticised if they make mistakes. |  |
