Brum relegation and Tom Wagner fan relationship 10:04 - Apr 30 with 561 viewsunstableblue

What a crazy season at Brum

They play Norwich at home who will want to win to secure 5th and take form into play-offs
Plymouth are at home to Hull, who are good, but nothing now to play for.

Brum need Plymouth to lose and they win.

Tom Wagner made the disastrous Rooney appointment. And seems to be more focussed on off field stadia improvement and concerts than the on-pitch set-up. Yes he got Mowbray right and was unlucky with his ill health. And yes the fans really backed the chairman in a recent game, when a rare win combined with stadia news.

But it feels badly run. With Stansfield falling out with fans who’d had enough away at Hudds in a must win game.

League 1 is a nightmare to get out of. Put the stadia on hold and get the playing side working surely?

Poll: How many points will Town get from 5 (Wat, Boro, Hull, Cov, Hudd)?

Norwich is not a good team to be playing to need a win. The home crowd could either be a help or a hindrance. Norwich need a result to guarantee to avoid Leeds or Ipswich. I could see any result, but the most probable one would be a draw.
Hull do have something to play for, they have to win and hope that West Brom lose, so it is a slim chance, but still Hull will be up for it. It doesn't matter how many Hull score, because their goal difference is so bad, but if Birmingham draw they need Hull to win 5-0. It would be such a shame for Plymouth to fall into the bottom three after the final game, but unfortunately they wasted the opportunity to win a lot of points by appointing the wrong manager and the hopeless teams around them appointed much better managers.
If Birmingham do go down, then I can't imagine that Mowbray will stay, then again, if the owners have learned their lesson and get out of the way, then you could imagine him bringing them straight back up.
