The only truth any of us know is nothing has been said from the club officially.
The only person at this point who does know what is going on is Kieron himself.
The speculation coming from reporters and journalists is connected to rumours that he would listen to other job offers.
The simple truth is that has to be the case, because even people with alot of extra time on their hands at the end of the football season would not be wasting energy on a story if they knew 100% he wanted to stay at Ipswich.
This in turn would put him very high on bookmakers lists for every feasible job which becomes available.
So we sit and wait to see what happens. I think next 48 hours will see this story come to a complete end one way or another.
My own opinion is still that he will stay where he is, at least for the coming season , and maybe beyond that too. |  | | |  |

I think McKenna most certainly would listen to other job offers. Who wouldn't, in his position? He'll consider them very carefully, thoroughly and without rushing, then make a decision. He seems a man to put logic over emotion, but not without loyalty (e.g. to his players). No doubt he will speak with ITFC as well.
So we just have to wait and see if there has been any actual offers (as opposed to being on a short-list, or having discussions) and what he thinks of them. This process may take a while - especially if he's away on holiday at the moment. |  |
