Twitter: how to clean up your #itfc timeline 10:33 - Jul 10 with 907 viewsEJP

Morning,

Saw this posted on Twitter this morning on how to get rid of those IPTV tweets when looking at Tweets featuring #itfc

Amend your search to #itfc -iptv- and it will ignore any tweet with iptv in it.

I’m sure most of you know that already, but for the uneducated like me, it may be useful.

Yes, I don't use Twitter much but you can exclude content by preceding it with a - (minus). This also works on some search engines too, but sometimes they block it. I haven't tried on Twitter to see whether you can include or exclude with wildcards or even regular expressions (yet!) but I probably won't bother!

You don't need the trailing - in your example and it might actually stop it from working?

#itfc -iptv- works fine for me! (Unless the iptv have suddenly stopped Tweeting ...?!)
