the last couple of season have been simply amazing and we have been so lucky to be the fans to benefit from it, which most other team looking on enviously.
I will admit to have fallen back in love with the players and the team again. Nights like Barnsley away, Southampton at home and so many more games where dreams became true.
No offence to them but I'm not sure I'll feel the same about the new players as I did about JD, Kayden and so many of the last 2 seasons squads but they are the next Ipswich and who knows where they will take us
Over the past couple of weeks, in my case not helped by the decision over the youth academy, it feels a bit like "reality' is kicking and as fans we will have to accept its 'back to 'something akin to normality' and be patient
This is season is all about survival and just remember we didnt 'survive' in the championship very long so who knows where this 'dream' will take us

If it was a fairytale it would have finished on the final whistle against Huddersfield on the final day of last season. The 15 months from February 2023 to May 2024 were near to perfection. We’ll never experience anything like it again. From now on it’s more “real life”, where there will be lows as well as highs. |  |

I honestly don't know, but I'm not going to decide on the basis of two defeats against two of the best teams in the world and a penalty shootout loss with a bunch of new players some of whom had only had one training session with us.
I understand where you're coming from on the players but of course we have to let grow into legends, if indeed that is what they become. | |
