She did write in January 2023 a column in which she stated that being a member of the Labour Party is like being in an "abusive relationship" as a result of her treatment in relation to trans issues, so maybe what has gone on recently is just the final straw.

It is significant, however, that she is on the right of the party, and I fully share her anger at the inner circle (which I take to be those behind the Starmer project), a major reason for my leaving the party.

I might add that I did some leafleting for her in 2019, and from recollection I think she was then or had been a single parent, which perhaps explains her anger in relation to things like the two child benefit cap.
