Seems that yellow cards after final whistle do not count towards suspension in the Premier league according to Google anyway.

Unless I've missed it there's nothing in the FA hand book to suggest that they are treated any differently. If anyone can spot anything different then the regulations regarding cautionable and sending off offences are here from p194 onwards:

The 2nd yellow for Al-Nouri means he is suspended for the next game, so by serving the suspension that does not get added to his 5 yellows for a ban, if LD did get a yellow that will count for his 5 yellows.

All a bit confusing but apparently the Premier league website confirms Liam's 95th minute yellow but does not show him as a 1 match ban ?
