KM asks for unity? on 22:52 - Feb 13 by ReusersTown | Were you booing at the game? You're also not being very clear re: which season. We've been demonstrably more in control against Southampton than we were in either games last year, if you can't see that it's difficult to help you. So you'd rather just be a tw4t whatever the performance if it's not the results you feel that you're entitled to? Great glad we cleared that up! And if that's your attitude any football club is better off without you. |
I didn’t boo at the game but I can see why some were frustrated, I had given up on getting a result by the time the whistle went or I may well have done. In the away game last season we went 1-0 up early and controlled the whole game, it was one of our best performances and one which made me realise we were serious contenders for the division. Stats may say differently but it’s a completely different game at 1-0 up than it is at 0-0 or 1-0 down, they would obviously throw more at us. In the away game this season, they will probably feel they controlled the game after going 1-0 up early and will feel we were lucky to get an equaliser - to be fair, I left feeling much the same, coming away with a point felt like a coup at the time based on performance The home game last year really was a game of two halves, but one we had a half (maybe half an hour) in which we dominated the game and created several good chances. We didn’t do that this year at any point, save for 10 minutes at the end of the first half. I’d be keen to know by which metrics we have been ‘demonstrably more in control’? Your post seems to just reassert what you said initially, but a bit more angrily. | |
