I've never been one for blaming individual players, you win as a team and you lose as a team, I even defended Muric at times, but I've got to say after the Southampton game most of the hope of survival drained out of me. Really poor from Muric again and with Walton injured, we looked doomed.
The recruitment team really have pulled a blinder with Palmer. To sign someone of his quality, in a top playing rhythm, who has even played with some of our backline before and just slot him in, on yesterday's performance it looks like a masterstroke.
It's the hope that kills you but just 3 points from survival again, assuming Wolves don't miraculously get something at Anfield today, with them still to come to Portman Road.

At 28, will Palmer ever get another shot at playing in the Prem? He'd been at WBA for almost all his career, and they've allowed him to fulfill his dream. Good on them. |  |
