Probably depends on whether we go 4-2-3-1 or 5-3-2-1.

if we use a central back 3 with Leif as left wingback and Johnson as right wingback, then we only have 2 behind Delap. Would KMk pick Broady over SS?

I think I'd prefer a back 4 with Townsend on the left, then we could have Broady, SS and Hutch behind Delap. We are just too open when playing Leif on the left of a back 4.

Poll: would you rather

Why would we take our most creative player out of the side when we already struggle to create chances though?

I suspect it'll be Clarke as well, he was first choice from the bench last weekend so would be surprised if it's not him.

Totally agree.

Our best player over recent games when he's played.

From the little of what I saw of Clarke on the Villa highlights he was really on it when he came on, looked good. Was unlucky to have to come off after the red card. I can see him starting, even over broadhead.

He's looked like a Premier League player, it is only his confidence in front of goal that has let him down. If he can sort out his finishing he should be starting every week.

Spurs despite everything should win on Saturday given the quality they have, we're going to need to be at our very best to get anything out of the game. I think too many of us expect them to do a Spurs on Saturday. The problem is we are more than capable of doing an Ipswich and conceding a few soft goals!

I think the question of how the back 4 or 5 line up will involve consideration of both flanks. The Broady question focuses on the left, but we've had games where Axel has been out and our right side has had a mare. We face Spurs next, and Son is scary if our right side is sub-par.

(leaving aside that 5-3-2-1 makes 11, and so would entail leaving out Palmer, which would be harsh ;) )

Yes Broady as the 10, Clarke on the left,Hutch on the right is what I want to see.
Hopefully Jaden is integrating well into the squad and ready to start soon

Yeah. Tend to agree. Always seems to make something happen.
That said, he really should've scored against the Saints.
Luckily for Broady most people were transfixed by digging out Muric and it wasn't really picked up.
But yes, Broady to play a part against Spurs.

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.
