How many chances do we need to take advantage of our plight? Wolves lose, we're gifted a goal in the first few minutes, Utd go down to 10 men and then gift us another goal. The game was being offered to us on a plate and we threw it away. We spent the whole of the second half knocking it around in safe areas and then either putting it out of play or giving away silly fouls, giving Utd the chance to waste time. Utd also looked like they were going to score every time they got a free kick in our half. It was just poor all round, we were pretty awful at both ends of the pitch, the patterns of play from the last couple of years have disappeared, set pieces defensively and in attack were terrible all night and the confidence looks to have completely gone. I'm normally fairly positive and I tried to defend the team after most poor results this season but I'm at a loss as to how I can take any positives from our performances recently. | |
