It’s probably all to do with health and safety ffs. They’ve declared it an alcohol free event as well.
Just have a simple bus parade through the city and let people, as many as possible, fill the streets.
Flags, cans, smoke bombs the lot.

Should add that I thought KM's comments last year about how the bus parade was humbling and how it was great to see people come out of their houses who maybe don't go to games or can't afford to but were part of the celebrations were, as usual, spot on. | | | |
