Rushworth deal fell through because we wanted a permanent deal but Brighton only wanted a loan.
‘Brighton and Ipswich failed to thrash out a deal for
keeper Carl Rushworth - because of a row over making
it a loan or a buy.
The Tractor Boys wanted Rushworth to be their number
one as revealed and would have liked to buy him for the
Premier League campaign.
However the Seagulls are concerned that they may be
giving away a future England cap and would have

Hope he does well for them. Change of heart due to personal reasons, his wife is pregnant and due to drop any time.
Played a massive part in the second half of the season, good luck to him, certainly made up for the first stint here. |
