£40m release clause while in the prem
£30m release clause if relegated
£40m buyback clause for City

Why is the last one in there? As it's the same figure as the highest release clause anyway, with City being in the best position regardless as they pay 20% less than anyone else due to their sell on.

Also, for everyone piling on Ashton, if that was what was on the table then better to take it than not sign him! No brainer, hindsight is also a wonderful thing and Delap has performed beyond anyone's wildest expectations.
