What on earth is wrong with these tin-pot mid-table 17:14 - May 10 with 4340 views | carlo88 | non-entity Premier league teams. Brentford forum spitting blood, I kid you not, about us. Absolutely rabid, hoping we go down and never come back, probably because we might have fouled one of their pampered stars. Hope they, and Bournemouth go down and never get back. | | | | |

Frank is a class bloke and always speaks really highly, sincerely and respectfully of us. He gets it because he can relate to the journey of getting here, unlike many of the manager/ Head coaches in our league who clearly just don’t. I have to say too that Brentford, in spite of some of their fans yesterday, are a club that I like massively. It is a great story and their fans are living the dream right now - well established in the premier league, going for Europe, a clear identity, great recruitment model, a very likeable manager, and they’ve moved to a modern stadium that is a sensible size for them whilst still keeping the community feel they had at Griffin Park. It will be interesting to see where they are in another 4 years or so. There are striking similarities to them and Burnley under Dyche and European caused issues to them and their smaller squad. They’ve built their success on a stable coaching set up and a tight knit group. The latter becomes a lot harder when competing in Europe especially with the way all the competitions are now set up for more games than ever. [Post edited 11 May 15:51]
