The ref clearly blows a full two seconds after the corner is taken and then indicates another corner.
It cannot possibly be given as another corner as the ref doesn't blow up for a couple of seconds after the ball has come in, therefore the ball is in play by the time he blows up so it cannot possibly be a retaken corner.
It also cannot be a penalty if the ball is not in play, therefore it cannot go to VAR either if the ball is not in play as VAR cannot intervene unless it is a potential red card offence. The ball does not go out off an Ipswich player, therefore cannot be a corner.
There is no logical way it can end up being another corner based on the above issue and the referee has either made a serious error or does not know the rules of the game. Either way the referee has made a serious error in breach of the rules of the game and the PGMOL should discipline him.
