As VAR theoretically is their to correct poor refereeing decisions, it should be used at Wembley. It's irrelevant whether or not it's been used in the rest of the season. What if a team won the play-off final with a goal where the player punched the ball into the net, unseen by the officials? |  |

Sorry the “what if” doesn’t wash, it could have been “punched in” as you suggest in other league matches ensuring promotion automatically, I just am a, not a fan. b, you can’t use it here & there it’s either in all matches or none, in my opinion of course.

Just a nonsense starter if an argument. Refs are different for different games. It's used for the whole match, it's the same for both team. There is absolutely no issue with using it for a final. In fact everyone would be moaning that Sheffield United scored and offside goal. People forget all those nonsense decisions arguments now like they didn't happen before VAR. | |
