For all the magic of the previous 2 seasons this year was always going to be difficult but I can’t help thinking 2 things

How wonderful that so many of the league 1 team got to play in the premier league. I wonder if the likes of Morsy, Chappers, Burns Wolfie Burge ever thought that would happen. Maybe it’s something that they all got that chance to do. Had we spent a year or 2 in the champ that wouldn’t have happened.

I’ve been a town fan 50 years and that team gave me 2 of the most special seasons and rekindled my first love

But now the real work starts.

McKenna built a team to get us to the champ and it achieved so so much more. Now he has to build a team to get us back into and then stay in the premier league. I suspect a lot of favourites will go and there will be a new team emerging come August.

It ain’t going to be easy but in McKenna we trust!!
