I'm wondering if the delay is because Guiu deal is connected. I.e maybe we've offered more favourable payment plan for Chelsea for Delap IF we can get Guiu over the line.

Is that possible?

Sky are reporting it as guaranteed £30M with £20M up front and £10M in installments. Man City receiving a sell-on fee and Ipswich also have a sell-on clause. I guess that only really works for us if he goes to a top side for a massive fee.
