Hebe and Buddleia...Point of interest, our cat caught a Red Admiral, upon shooing the cat away found said butterfly, with cat saliva dampened wings, perfectly still on ground. Placed it on a Hebe flower, after a few minutes it sprang to life and flew away. A natural 'play dead' butterfly survival strategy?!

butterflies like buddleia. Hence the nickname butterfly bush. My buddleia are only just starting to flower. Cooler coastal location maybe.
