I questioned why we would bring Ashley Young into the squad, last night told me why! He positioning, calmness and ball delivery was excellent and, I wouldn't be surprised, if he became the starter.
AAH - still young, caused them problems, is getting better. He needs to stay and let KM coach him.
Chaplin - quick, decisive touches and some sh1thousery - exactly what we needed
Humphreys - has a lovely left foot and didn't seem overwhelmed in his time on the pitch
Broadhead - I'm a fan but he'll leave before end of month, not consistent enough as a starter or finisher and didn't impact game the way I hoped.
We know KM loves his finishers to impact a game and I think we'll be ok in this department. |  |
