Never fancied us today! It just looked like their players wanted it more. Unfortunately, too many of our players looked off it today. The season isn't over but if we suffer from a downturn in performance and results that we had after we last played Norwich then WE WILL NEVER STOP HEARING IT!
While they may be promoted via playoffs - although I doubt it! Their whole fan base will be content with stopping us from being promoted and, if our standards slip following this setback, then be prepared to hear about it for the next ten years!
The season isn't over but Watford is a massive test! |

Watford are the sort of team that will give us problems, there are certainly no easy games in the championship.
Whatever happens it's been a great season but success increases expectations and its something we all need to remember! |

Those of us at a certain age will recall the furore about Huntingdon Life Sciences back in the day and the discussions about vivisection and animal testing. I thought it was a thing of the past and then I discovered MBR Acres and LabCorp.
MBR Acres is based just outside Huntingdon and is the UK's largest puppy farm. They breed beagles in converted pig sheds and these beagles are kept in cages with an automated lighting and feeding system. They never get let out to feel the sun and rain. On average they breed 2000 puppies a year at MBR. Once these puppies reach 20 weeks old they are sold to labs for testing on.
Huntingdon Life Sciences use to be the main lab in Huntingdon where animal testing happened but the uproar of locals and the constant attention of the animal rights movement had them on the ropes... until the government saved them....they eventually were brought out by (you've guessed it) LabCorp, who are still on the same site and still testing on animals. LabCorp is one of the biggest purchasers of beagles from MBR in the UK. At LabCorp the beagles will be burnt, have bleach poured down their throat via a tube or forced to breathe in toxins via gas masks. This happens until the Beagle's die. If they don't die they are killed as they no longer have a value to LabCorp.
Beagle's are used as they are reluctant to bite and have a placid nature.
I honestly thought these practices didn't happen anymore!
There are alternatives, using these alternatives would put LabCorp and MBR out of business and the results would be more reliable since over 96% of tests performed on animals fail when tested on humans, as we are not the same.
Camp Beagle have been camped on the verge outside MBR Acres holding this practice to account and documenting the movement of beagles in a non violent way since July 2021. They currently have a petition asking the government to direct more money to non animal testing. Please sign it and share it with friends and family and on your social media as I'm sure, if you visited Camp Beagle, the haunting cries of the puppies would weigh on your consciousness forever.

If, at the beginning of the season, you were told that come January Ipswich would be within seven points off top with game in hand and had just spent £1.5m on a striker you'd have wet yourself and took it.

Thread | Cost of Greed Energy Crisis.

I entered my energy consumption into a price comparison site yesterday. The best offer was from Scottish Power and it was £465 a month. This is an annual increase of £3602. This amount is bigger than my current monthly mortgage repayments for my modest 3bed end terraced house.
As it stands I'm on a fixed deal till next September but this is horrifying. I couldn't afford to pay it. I see arguments on here regarding national strikes, boycotting certain media, calling for renationisation of services with arguments against all.
I'd loved to hear how much you're being offered on comparison sites and how that will personally effect you and your family and your personal solutions - will you cut back everything, borrow, refuse to pay, etc..

I've supported Town fwa very long time in good times and bad. Like most I sat and watched the Lionesses during this tournament and enjoyed the journey to becoming champions. I do hope this creates a legacy and the womens game gets the support and investment at all levels to grow.
However, just because you support Ipswich should you automatically support the ladies? In my mind they're two very different games and you could easily support a team that has a closer connection to you. Thoughts? |

Kyle Edwards has undoubted talent and has show a willingness to work back. Once injury free could McKenna see him as the answer to our left sided question? |

It looks like our new coaching structure is technically sound and well qualified to improve the players but the bigger issue has to be managing some of the ego's in the team!
If they can motivate and manage some of those ego's (player's who think they should be playing at a higher level) then we could be in for an exciting time. |

The rumours about Harris are just rumours and his CV is more than good enough for a club mid table in league 1 so we shouldn't judge!
However, with Harris flattering to excite most fans this could turn very ugly, very quickly for the Americans and Ashton. They will be judged on this appointment and should it not be succesful in results and styles I dont hink the fan base will be forgiving or patient! |

Another young ambitious manager that haven't really heard many mention as potential for our Head Coach. Been managing for five years at U23 and youth International Level and now having success (although early days) at Forest Green Rovers.
Sounds like the sort of manager we should talk to. |

Owners have gone on record as saying they'd love to appoint a female manager. Obviously very succesful and would be a eye catching appointment but also a risk....
